SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION FOR 2010

Available to a library staff member who meets the following criteria:

  • Currently employed in a WILIUG member library/consortium.

  • Willing to participate in a future WILIUG conference to share knowledge gained.

The $500 WILIUG scholarship was created to subsidize the costs of attending the 20010 IUG Conference in Chicago, Illinois April 18-21, 2010.

New Wiki Format

The WILIUG web site (http://www.wiliug.org/) is slowly being phased out to be replaced by this wiki. The Steering Committee decided to migrate all of our organization's content to a wiki, in part so that new individuals could help shoulder the responsibility of maintaining our WILIUG resources (past and future). Additionally, we heard from our membership at the 2007 Fall meeting that a wiki would be a great way for us to communicate with one another and share our Innovative-related experiences.

This wiki will house 'all things WILIUG.' It links to important documents like our bylaws, our Steering Committee, and our membership (renewal) form but it's also the place to go to find out info on our upcoming meetings and to see resources from other WI and IL member libraries.

We want you to contribute by editing a document or chiming in with your comments.

Not sure where to start?   Here are two pages to get things rolling:

  1. Using Innovative Resources..... Share how you are using any Innovative module and/or product? Do you use Millennium Statistics or ERM? Are your featured lists set up? Does your library have a great Circ training guide  for staff/volunteers, or perhaps a successful help sheet for the public? Are you confused by some aspect of the system, what is it? Chime in here and feel free to upload resources from your institution.
  2. Directory of WI & IL Members.... Check out our directory of WILIUG members. Do we have our facts straight?  What could we add here?

Materials Desired for the IUG Clearinghouse

All WILIUG members are strongly encouraged to submit a resource to the IUG Clearinghouse. Types of materials found on the Clearinghouse include handouts, tutorials, scripts, promotional material and other resources that supplement the INNOPAC/Millennium user manual and materials available on CSDirect web site.
